Tania Basu, MD
Dr. Tania Basu Serna is a double board-certified physician in Obstetrics/ Gynecology and Complex Family Planning. She has been a fierce advocate for reproductive justice for more than a decade and is passionate about ensuring access to high quality care to all and to training the next generation of providers. She is currently the Director of Abortion and Sedation Services at Planned Parenthood Northern California and is on staff at UC San Francisco as a Volunteer Associate Clinical Professor in OB/GYN. She provides comprehensive reproductive health care at PP NorCal in San Francisco, East Bay and in Fairfield. Dr. Basu serves on the board of the California Abortion Alliance and is the co-chair of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology District IX Health Care of Underserved Women. She also conducts research in health equity and abortion access.
