In this session you will learn about the “REN Approach”- a contract negotiation methodology based on economics theories that minimize the added work needed for negotiating an effective contract efficiently. The presenter will also review how to communicate contractual obligations to ensure proper management of a contract. Finally, you will learn tips that can streamline your contract negotiations and propel you to the signature line.

  3. To explore methods for streamlining negotiations at different stages.

    Originally from Americus, Georgia, Frank Harvey is a Senior Procurement Contracts Specialist at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. As a contracts specialist, Frank is responsible for negotiating and drafting IT hardware & software purchasing contracts and federally funded purchasing contracts for ASU. Frank also holds a Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM) certification with the National Contract Management Association. Since joining ASU in 2018, Frank has successfully negotiated over 400 contracts for ASU. Previously, Frank has worked for Mindbody in Scottsdale, Arizona and McCoppin & Associates in Cary, North Carolina. Frank received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The University of Georgia in 2013 and Juris Doctorate from North Carolina Central University in 2015.
