Description

This panel session will present methods for cross training to expand skills and processes across team members. By fully engaging the talents and strengths of a team, the panel will discuss how to maximize work product, collaboration efforts, and innovation. Panel members from across institution types will share ideas on how structure your communication strategy to increase moral and a sense of connectedness.

Session Objectives:

    Contract Administrator
    Florida State University

    Casey is the Contract Administrator for Florida State University (FSU), managing the Contract Administration Program. The Program is responsible for the oversight and management of contracts for the University which includes policy and procedure development and implementation, training, and review and negotiation of contracts. Casey has worked in the public and higher education sectors for a combined 12 years, with expertise in creating and managing contract and procurement programs, lease and facilities programs, training programs, and general project management. Prior to that, Casey worked for in the private industry, with expertise in the fields of retail management, sales, and marketing. Casey is a Project Management Professional (PMP) as well as an alumna from FSU graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and English and currently pursuing a Juris Master from the FSU College of Law.

  • Sara Veilleux

    Assistant Vice President
    Procurement & Operational Services
    Southern New Hampshire University

    Sara Veilleux is the Assistant Vice President of Procurement and Operational Services at Southern New Hampshire University. In her role, she leads the Strategic Sourcing, Contracts, Procurement, Conference & Event Services, Mail Services, and Real Estate teams. Sara has been at SNHU for 8 years, and she previously worked as a Contracts Administrator at Stonyfield Farm. She holds an MBA from SNHU and undergraduate degrees in Economics and Spanish from Mount Holyoke College. Sara is the current NAEP District 1 Representative on the NAEP National Board, and is the Co-Chair of the Educational Committee. Sara graduated from SNHU’s Pinnacle Leadership program in 2018. As a lifelong resident in New Hampshire, she enjoys the outdoors, reading, baking and playing tennis.

  • Lenora Sevillian

    NAEP, At Large Director 

    Lenora Sevillian has over twenty-eight years of experience in public and private sector procurement and product development for a variety of products and services. Lenora holds several industry professional certifications and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in International Law from American College in London, England. Most recently, she was accepted to the Law and Policy Doctoral Program at Northeastern University for 2022.

    Lenora is a visionary procurement executive with extensive experience in building and leading procurement organizations. Her focus is on building teams through collaborative efforts with key internal stakeholders. A proven track record of high performance, achieving goals, stretching targets and transforming the procurement functions from a tactical, transactional position, to a dynamic, strategic, and transformative contributor.

    Lenora is passionate about talent development; teaching, succession planning, cross-functional development, training, building business partnerships, and serving in a volunteer capacity on professional committees and community nonprofits.
