7th Grade Curriculum - Career & College Clubs

Welcome to the 7th Grade Career & College Clubs Curriculum! Career & College Clubs is a college and career preparation program for grades 7 through 12.

The heart of the program is curriculum that seeks to increase the number of students who enroll and complete postsecondary education, with a particular focus on underserved learners (e.g. underrepresented racial/ethnic minority, low-income, and/or first-generation college students).

The curriculum is based on grade-level readiness standards developed from research on effective practices and vetted by educators. The standards identify knowledge, skills, and actions students must master in order to be college and career ready upon graduation from high school.

Informed by the ACT® Holistic Framework, the curriculum centers around peer-to-peer learning, a model that requires students in the Club teach the material to each other, then educate their peers not in the Club.
