Career & College Clubs is modular so that it can be used in any setting: during instruction
time, after school, over the summer, with a single grade level or multiple
grade levels. We recognize that not every school or organization implementing the program has the time and resources to complete all activities. So, we’ve developed four curriculum maps to guide implementation, depending on your unique needs.
Three Quarters Map
This map assumes your Club will meet for 45-60 minutes, for a total of 31 weeks/meetings, which is about three-fourths of the academic year. We’ve found Clubs that meet during instruction time or after school frequently employ this map.
Two Quarters Map
This map assumes your Club will meet for 45-60 minutes, for a total of 20 weeks/meetings, which is about half of the academic year. We’ve found Clubs that meet during instruction time or after school frequently employ this map.
One Quarter Map
This map assumes your Club will meet for 30 minutes, for a total of 36 weeks/meetings. We’ve found Clubs that meet multiple times a week or over the summer frequently employ this map.
20 Activities Map
This map assumes your Club will meet for 30 minutes, for a total of 20 weeks/meetings. This map is for those who may not have a set implementation, or for those who have very limited time with their students.
