Range Safety and Health (OSHA Core Elements)

Presented by Jason Smith, this course focuses on range safety and health specifically through the lens of the OSHA's 7 Core Elements and recommendations for workplace safety.

Module 1: Overview provides the three primary range safety and health hazards and a review of the 7 OSHA core elements of the Recommended Practices for Safety and Health Programs. This module includes NSSF's Lead Management Guide and a variety of fact sheets and hazard oriented reference guides.  Duration: appx. 20 minutes 

Module 2: Management Leadership provides an overview of the role that management plays in building an effective range safety and health program. This module includes a variety of templates to build safety meetings and safety plans on topics such as Respiratory Protection, Drug-Free Workplace, Hearing Conservation, Lead Compliance and much more.  Duration: appx. 30 minutes

Module 3: Worker Participation focuses on the role that employees play in building an effective range safety and health program.  This module includes creative ways to remove barriers of participation and encouraging reporting.  Duration: appx. 20 minutes
