Where does the conference take place and where should I stay
Conference sessions and activities are held in the Northern Kentucky Convention Center, 1 West Rivercenter Dr., Covington, KY 41011. The Certified Wellness Practitioner Certification Prep Workshop takes place July 18 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Cincinnati Marriott RiverCenter.

Where do I check in and receive my badge?
Registrants for the (pre-conference) Certification Prep Workshop: Check in with the facilitator in the "Kentucky" Room in the Cincinnati Marriott RiverCenter, July 18 between 12:45 p.m. and 1 p.m. The training takes place in this room from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Exhibitors: Please check in with NWI staff in the Exhibit Hall on the first floor of the Kentucky Convention Center during set-up hours (Tuesday, July 18 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.). Your badges will waiting for you at your table.

All other conference registrants: Check in at the table in front of the Event Hall on the First Floor of the Northern Kentucky Convention Center, during one of the following times:
  • Tuesday, July 18: 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. (Grand Opening Reception)
  • Wednesday, July 19: 7:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
  • Thursday, July 20: 7:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.

Are the sessions being recorded?
No, sessions will not be recorded (video nor audio) for purchase or viewing after the conference.

How do I receive a certificate to verify I have earned Continuing Education Credits (CECs) or for proof of attendance?
Sessions are approved for CECs by several certifying bodies. See the CEC + Evaluations page for full details on how to earn your credits and receive certificates.

Do I have to pre-register for the sessions I wish to attend?
No. All sessions taking place July 19-21 are included with your conference registration, and there is no need to pre-register. Feel free to attend whatever session you would like.

Are handouts available for NWC sessions?
Handouts, if available, may be downloaded by clicking on the session in the agenda and visiting the "Resources" tab above the session description. If the tab is not visible, the presenter has not provided any handouts, but you may wish to check back in case they are added. Hard copies of session handouts will NOT be available on-site.

Is there a printed program guide available on-site?
As we continue to focus on environmental wellness, we will not be offering a full printed program guide this year. You may wish to download and print the Session Checklist PDF that includes session locations and details for earning continuing education credits.

Are meals included with my registration?
Complimentary coffee and tea will be available in or near the main event hall from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., Wednesday through Friday. Lunch is provided Wednesday and Thursday. Light appetizers will be served during Tuesday evening's Grand Opening Reception and Wednesday's Wellness Awards Reception.

What should I bring?
  • Paper and pen (and/or tablet/laptop) for taking notes
  • Business cards to share during in-person networking
  • Comfortable casual or business-casual clothes/shoes (including a light sweater or jacket for air-conditioned rooms)
  • Water bottle to stay hydrated
  • Curiosity, an intention to learn and grow, and activate wellness!

What networking and personal renewal opportunities are available during the conference?

NWC 2023 will include multiple ways to activate your personal well-being and grow your professional network. Wellness activities will be added to the online agenda and announcements will be posted near check-in for opportunities to meet up with other attendees for dinner, participate in personal well-being activities, and network with other participants.

What if I need to cancel my conference registration?
