8 November 2022, 12:00 – 1:00 Eastern
Description
This workshop is designed to examine power and marginalization through a social identity lens and how dominant socialization discourse has limited us within a U.S. centric psychology. We will also identify how the body is integral in healing intergenerational trauma both as oppressor and oppressed. And finally, we will highlight broader liberatory practices that disavow structures that keep White supremacy in place; and how truth and attuned responsiveness can reconnect us to ourselves and the interdependent communities we live in.
