He has been a long time member of the NFPA Committee on Smoke Control Systems, is a co-author of the ASHRAE Smoke Control Handbook, and is the author of the Smoke ControlSystem Commissioning Chapter of the NFPA Fire and Life Safety System Inspection Manual.
