Generally, a custom-created controlled vocabulary/taxonomy is best, but there are situations in which licensing a controlled vocabulary published by a third party may be considered. This webinar presents the situations in which to consider licensing a controlled vocabulary, the issues in licensing a controlled vocabulary, and the sources for licensing a vocabulary. What to consider if you have created a controlled vocabulary that you want to license out will also be discussed.
