Michael Sholinbeck has worked at the UC Berkeley Library since 2002. He is the Public Health Librarian and Optometry Liaison, and coordinates the library’s public health and optometry instruction, and managing the public health and optometry collections. A SLA member since 2002, he is Past President of the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter and a DICE Community co-leader. Michael has a MLIS from San Jose State University, an MS from Oregon State University (Geography), and a BA from UC Berkeley (Geography). When not at work he lives out his fantasy of being a rock & roll drummer.
