Followed by A Panel Discussion with APHL and CDC Laboratory Branch

Objectives of this Webinar 

  1. Participants will know how to access the APHL online resource for information on best practices about TB testing methods and results. The information provided from this online course, will aid in the effective and timely communication with the patient, clinician and testing laboratory.
  2. Participants will have an understanding of laboratory workflow, methodology, and reporting language essential for all TB Healthcare workers.
  3. Participants will describe effective methods for utilizing the online course in providing orientation of TB laboratory testing information for nurses new to TB nurse case management.


To Receive CE Credit for the Webinar:
Each individual must complete the following steps:
  1. Complete the pre-registration questions.
  2. Take the pre-test.
  3. After you complete 1, 2, and 3, click Live Webinar and Register.
  4. When you’re registered, you’ll receive a confirmation email.
  5. Attend the course.
  6. Take the post-test. 
Eligible participants who complete the pre-test, attend the webinar, and complete the post-test, may download their CE certificates when available.
