This session provides an overview of the recently released online course created for public health nurses providing care for patients with TB. A programmatic case study will be provided by a nurse manager who effectively incorporated the APHL online course into their nurse orientation program.
A panel discussion, with colleagues from APHL and CDC laboratory branch, will follow the demonstration of the online course. Questions about laboratory testing and results will be solicited from TB nurses in advance of the discussion, in addition, to live questions during the webinar.
