STLN2122 Strategies to support gifted students

Teaching a class that contains one or more gifted students creates many opportunities for teachers to reflect deeply on their practice. Planning to differentiate effectively will help ensure the gifted students are catered for without segregating them from the rest of the class. This session will examine pedagogy that is most effective, how to ensure the curriculum is relevant and explore strategies to support gifted students when they come up against challenges and frustrations.
