Description:
Leadership in early childhood settings is a nuanced beast. Traditional theories of leadership used predominantly in the business sector don't quite fit what we do and we often find ourselves trying to mould ourselves into these uncomfortable approaches. Taking two concepts not usually connected with leadership, kindness and courage, the presenter will share a new approach to leadership in early childhood that seeks to place the heart at the forefront of the work.
