Course Overview
Ethanol, crude oil, and other flammable liquids are
utilized in a vast majority of communities for industrial applications and even
the most basic functions such as home heating and cooking, which means all but
the most isolated communities are served by bulk deliveries and storage of
these products. When emergencies involving these products occur scene
evaluation, safe response tactics and an understanding of the products involved
are vital in ensuring everyone in the community is prepared to recognize the
hazards presented by these emergencies. This course will prepare participants
for the challenges associated with the recognition and initial response to a
flammable liquids emergency.
