Thank you This live web event has ended. Thank you for attending. Contributors Seema Thakral Currently working as Researcher 6 at University of Minnesota. During graduate studies investigated the use of inclusion complexes for the improvement of physicochemical characteristics of pharmaceutical compounds. Research topics of interest: characterization of soft materials, solid-state pharmaceutics, processing-induced phase transformations, and lyophilization process development. Dian-Jang Lee Dian-Jang Lee obtained his DVM from National Taiwan University (Taipei, Taiwan) in 2010, and PhD in pharmaceutical science from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (Munich, Germany) in 2016. His research focuses on large molecule drug formulations for receptor-directed tumor targeting. His works are recognized by AAPS Biotechnology Graduate Student Research Award, Jan Feijen Poster Prize at European Symposium on Controlled Drug Delivery (ESCDD) and EMBO Short-Term Fellowship. Pinal Mistry, Ph.D. Dr. Pinal Mistry is currently a Developability Scientist at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), PA where she supports the early phase development of small molecules. Her research interest is in physico-chemical characterization and formulation development of Pharmaceutical products. She received her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics from University of Minnesota, MN in 2016, MS in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Creighton University, NE in 2011 and a Bachelors degree in Pharmacy from Mumbai University, India (2009). Dr. Mistry has received several awards for her research contribution including AAPS Graduate Student Research Award in both PPB and APQ section.
