2022 Global Listening and Spoken Language (LSL) Virtual Symposium

AG Bell is pleased to host its Global Listening and Spoken Language (LSL) Virtual Symposium June 29-30, 2022. Recognizing that not everyone can attend the live sessions, all presentations will be recorded for the on-demand symposium, which allows for you to learn on your own schedule, and will be available July 20-August 31, 2022.

For the same price, attendees can participate in live sessions and network with colleagues through innovative digital forums, while also catching up on missed sessions later on their own schedule during the on-demand event. Those who are planning to only attend the on-demand virtual Symposium will still pay the same registration fee. Register now to avoid increased costs later on.

LEAP helps teens who are deaf and hard of hearing virtually meet new friends and discover the leader within.

In 2021, AG Bell added a new virtual dimension to our youth programs – the Learning Experience and Adventure Program (LEAP). This fully-online program is designed to help teens navigate virtual environments with confidence, while connecting them to new friends from across the globe.

Continue to refine your skills and learn from home by registering for our on-demand webinar series.

You will have the opportunity to learn about the latest research and innovative practices related to listening and spoken language, all from the comfort of your own home. Going virtual turns every seat into a front row seat, offering you unobstructed views of keynote presenters and crystal-clear audio.

AG Bell is hosting our first Family Forum: Open House! During this one day event, you will have the opportunity to learn from experienced educators, therapists and parent speakers.

You will gain a bird’s eye view into the classroom to learn what to expect, tips for navigating your child’s IEP/504 educational plan, self-advocacy, literacy and executive function best practices, social situations and so much more. Parents and caregivers will be able to engage with experts and other parents to gain tools and confidence to implement as children continue through the 2021-2022 school year! Sessions are available in 3 tracks to ensure the most age-appropriate content for your child.
