Clash of the Titans: A Millennial Workforces Impact on the Healthcare System

By 2025 over 75% of the U.S. workforce will be millennials who could revolutionize healthcare delivery across the country. Traditionally, most Americans receive their health insurance benefits from their employer so inevitably millennials and healthcare systems across the country will collide. The battle between these two Titans could revolutionize health care delivery for the better across the country. This session will shed light on the unique position that case managers could find themselves in as consider the ethics, strategies and case management processes necessary to meet the needs of this millennial consumer.

Learning Outcomes:

  1. Steps to develop mentoring and recruitment of Millennial case managers
  2. Embrace ideas to grow the use of technology in your workplace, to further connectivity to all patient types, including millennials
  3. Case managers to identify, assess and advocate for millennial patients, in spite of systemic barriers.
