The Center for Development and Learning strives to offer virtual professional learning that empowers educators in recognizing, assessing, and responding to multiple needs of diverse learners. 

In our course catalog, you'll find:
  • Plain Talk About Literacy and Learning®: Join colleagues from around the world for Plain Talk About Literacy and Learning, which will feature two days of engaging speakers, an interactive exhibitor hall, prizes and giveaways, and more!
  • The Reading League Louisiana: special programming for the Louisiana chapter of The Reading League
  • Summer Literacy Program: resources from our 2020 Summer Literacy Program to help parents and guardians prepare their children to enter Kindergarten - Third Grade
  • Deep Dive Into Literacy: a series of webinars designed for online continued learning, focused on a variety of literacy topics and real-world classroom concerns

  • Growing Reading Brains: a self-paced version of our in-depth Science of Reading training, which builds the knowledge of educators, focusing on foundational reading skills for grades K-3
