The United States-Japan Trade Agreement (USJTA) entered into
force on January 1, 2020. Nearly 90% of U.S. food and agricultural products
imported into Japan are now duty free or receive preferential tariff access. In
order to receive preferential treatment, a good must be an originating good and
meet the preferential rules of origin of USJTA. Japanese customs has made some
adjustments on the origination process as well as documentation. Join us as we
