Executive Vice President, Residential Services - JK Moving Services
With more than 20 years of experience in household goods moving,
David Cox leads JK’s residential services division. Cox is responsible for
managing the residential team while ensuring strategic growth and profitability
across the division. By developing strong team members, providing the latest
technology, and developing efficient procedures, Cox ensures the business unit
maintains the highest level of customer service.
Prior to joining JK, Cox served in senior leadership roles with
some of the most prominent brands in the moving and storage industry, managing
every aspect of residential moving services from operations to quality
assurance. Previously, Cox served on the Board of Directors for the Pacific
Northwest Relocation Council and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Puget Sound.
Prior
to entering the relocation industry, Cox graduated from Carleton College in
Minnesota before serving two years in the Peace Corps teaching English to
students in Albania.
Senior Vice President, EmployBridge
Brian Devine is the Senior Vice President of EmployBridge, and
a 26-year veteran of the staffing industry. In 1999, Brian started ProLogistix,
one of the largest providers of logistics talent in the country. He also leads
ResourceMFG, the manufacturing division of EmployBridge. Combined, the two operations
employ over 50,000 associates in the supply chain across the US.
In 2007, Brian launched the Voice of the Blue-Collar Worker
Survey which is the largest survey of its kind in the country. The survey
captures the work-related priorities and the preferences of thousands of hourly
workers in the supply chain.
Brian is a member of the Advisory Council of the Warehouse
Education and Research Council (WERC). Additionally, he is a frequent
contributor to national media outlets including The Wall Street Journal, and he
speaks at national and local industry events on the topic of labor.
President, Mobility
Exchange, LLC
Ray daSilva started his career in the mobility services
industry in 1978 as a moving consultant doing military services for Alaska
Orient Van Service, a United Van Lines agent in Anchorage, Alaska. He held
positions in sales, management and executive roles based in Anchorage,
Honolulu, Singapore, London, Florida and Washington, DC. During his 23 years
with the Crown Worldwide Group, Ray served on its Executive Board where he
contributed to the growth of its global network of offices.
He played a key
role in developing Crown University, a visionary staff training and management
development program. Throughout his career, Ray has believed in the inherent
power of facilitating connectivity and collaboration within a fragmented
industry. This led him to contribute to the development of RedSky Mobility
Solutions, an innovative cloud based international move management system. He
currently serves as President of Mobility Exchange, LLC which develops and
implements collaborative technology solutions for the mobility services
industry in partnership with the IAM.
President, The California Moving and Storage Association
Steve Weitekamp has been President of the CMSA for over 15 years. He has also served as the Chairman of the National Council of Moving Associations for the past 6 years. Steve worked for 20 years in the moving industry prior to taking up his post at the CMSA.
