This webcast examines evidence-based information on functions of resistant starch relevant to weight management. Gain insights on tips and approaches for increasing resistant starch intake – how much, what food choices – evidence from human trials. Outline hands-on intervention options in using resistant starch to plan healthful meals. Learn how the structure of resistant starch relates to its health functions & application, and why it is a “must use in meals” for consumers. Consumers will continue to select/eat certain foods they desire, but these foods will be made healthier by including functional ingredients such as resistant starch.
