    Mark Taylor lives for finding new ways in doing things and believes that innovation, creativity, risk and increased transparency are necessary in solving today's transportation problems. Taylor is passionate about traffic signals, is the Utah Department of Transportation's Signal Operatons Engineer and oversees the operations and maintenance of UDOT's 1,280 traffic signals. A west coast native, Taylor has been married for 24 years, has five children and loves bicycling and attending his children's sporting events. Taylor is a licensed professional engineer in Utah, A International Municipal Signal Association (IMSA) level II and a Professional Traffic Operations Engineer.

    Steve Gault strives to ensure smooth mobility within his home state of Pennsylvania with new approaches to using technology to safely and efficiency move humans. A resident of Pennsylvania Dutch Country with his wife and two children, his local traffic signals must serve horse-drawn buggies in addition to pedestrians, bicycles, and motor vehicles. As the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s Chief of TSMO Arterials and Planning, Gault uses his passion by overseeing traffic signals, arterial operations, and planning for deployment of TSMO solutions across the state. Gault has been testing the limits of traffic signal controllers for several years, including building his own software to analyze controller log data. He is a licensed professional engineer in Pennsylvania and a certified Professional Traffic Operations Engineer.
