Finding Opportunity in Crisis: Becoming a Future - Ready Leader

The pandemic and social unrest have had an astonishing impact on the business world. This pace of change, and the uncertainty that comes with it, isn’t likely to disappear anytime soon. For leaders, motivating their teams and meeting goals in this reality can be challenging and stressful. What’s more, the behaviors that got them ahead before won’t always be what gets them ahead in the future.

Fortunately, reveals Dr. Tasha Eurich, the foundational skill of future-ready leadership is also highly learnable. Her research shows that when leaders make the brave decision to improve their self-awareness, they can transform a crisis into their finest hour—by making smarter decisions, living their values, and motivating their teams in the face of uncertainty. Through her academic research on the inner workings of thousands of individuals and her career as an elite executive coach, Tasha provides data-backed advice for becoming a future-ready leader (and passing those benefits and behaviors on to their teams). Participants will leave with several battle-tested tools to improve and a newfound confidence not just to survive, but thrive, in a constantly changing world.

Session Objectives:
  1. To understand the two categories of self-awareness and how they influence our effectiveness and change agility.
  2. To uncover the many myths of self-awareness, and learn how to avoid the invisible roadblocks that get in the way.
  3. To recognize why power decreases self-awareness and learn a simple tool to get the feedback you need to succeed.
  4. To cultivate self-aware teams that succeed (and tell each other the truth) when crisis strikes.
