In this session you will learn how the role of the procurement analyst is appearing in and enriching institutions across the nation. Being one of the first individuals at your school tasked with analyzing contracts or spend can be daunting. Hear how analysts in Florida started a monthly call for colleagues across the state to discuss questions, share resources, and develop best practices.

Session Objectives:

  1. To learn how the role of procurement analyst is appearing in and enriching institutions across the nation.
  2. To explore how to engage with colleagues on analyzing contracts.
  3. To consider ways to discuss questions, share resources, and develop best practices with other analysts.

Her two years in Procurement Services at the University of North Florida have included a breadth of strategy, sourcing, and analysis projects. Amy enjoys outdoor fitness, coffee with friends, and living at the beach.

    Hannah is in her third year as the Business Intelligence Analyst in Procurement Services at University of Florida.  She has enjoyed applying data principles to procurement and is involved in business reviews, contract compliance, savings reporting and reporting spend under management.  Hannah is a graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan (BA,BS) and Florida State University (MA). In her free time, Hannah enjoys aerial dance, cave diving, and walking her dog.
