Kevin Carr is Senior Director of Procurement Services for the University of Maine System. He leads the Procurement Services team within the University’s Strategic Procurement organization. His team is responsible for end-user support, training, and communications for the University's portfolio of procurement-related systems, processes, and policies. He has been with the University for over 27 years. He currently serves as Vice Chair of the NAEP Board of Directors.

Greg has 13 years experience in Higher Education Supply Chain Management. With a background in Data Analytics and Information Technology, Greg has been instrumental in developing the University of California's sourcing and procurement data management strategies along with many revenue generating programs. In recent years,Greg's role has transitioned to people and organizational management, focusing on HR, Budget, Finance, Communications and Customer Service at the University of California, San Francisco. Greg is also the UCSF Emergency Operations Center Logistics Chief, responsible for emergency procurement, sourcing, and warehousing for COVID and Wildfire related activities. Greg has been an active member of NAEP for many years, serving as the Regional President for the Pacific Region in District 6 and being the recipient of NAEP Volunteer of The Year, Communicator of the Year and Young Professional of the Year awards.
