Ground Improvement techniques have been in use for well over half a century. However in the last 5 - 10 years they have become more recognized for an economical engineered solution for supporting a variety of structures. Structural engineering practitioners need to understand the benefits and draw backs of various ground improvement technologies and how they carry the loads from the very structures that they are designing. The webinar will touch on a variety of ground improvement technologies in a practical manner. Some design aspects will be demonstrated, as well as illustrations of a variety of case histories.
