| This webinar addresses the design of aluminum structural connections, and is based on the 2010 Specification for Aluminum Structures, published by the Aluminum Association and the American Welding Society's D1.2 aluminum structural welding code. The strength of aluminum mechanical connections, including bolted, riveted, and screwed connections, and the strength of groove and fillet welded connections are addressed. Finally, quality requirements for aluminum structural welding are discussed, including inspection and qualifying weld procedure specifications and welding operators. |
