  • Seth Thomas, P.E.

    Seth Thomas, P.E., works at KPFF Consulting Engineers and is a licensed structural engineer. Seth got involved in the code development process early in his career and was a part of the team that developed the first tsunami provisions as part of ASCE 7-16. Seth is currently a member of the tsunami, flood, seismic and main committees for the ASCE 7-22 and a member of the SEAO code committee that assisted the Oregon building codes division in the adoption of the 2019 OSSC. Seth is also a past SEAO delegate to NCESA and a Past President of SEAO. Seth’s work experience spans over many market sectors including residential, mixed-use, hospitals, industrial, higher education, and commercial and includes performance based design, peer review, retrofits and new construction.
