Description

Rainier Square
During this presentation, Magnusson Klemencic Associates (MKA) Chairman and CEO Ron Klemencic will share the story of how the non-proprietary, first-of-its-kind SpeedCore structural system was incorporated into the construction of Rainier Square—a 58-story, 850-foot-tall mixed-use destination in downtown Seattle offering 1.4 million square feet of space for offices, luxury apartment homes, and retail. Ron will discuss SpeedCore’s game-changing advancements over conventional structural systems, how it allowed Rainier Square’s construction to occur 43% faster than if constructed with traditional core system, its decades of research and development, how SpeedCore is being incorporated in new high-rise developments today, and other topics surrounding this exciting innovation.
