Case studies in professional ethics can be a valuable and engaging experience. Professional ethics are a set of principles and guidelines that govern the behavior and decision-making of individuals in a particular profession. These ethics provide a framework for professionals to maintain integrity, accountability, and responsibility in their work. This session will review the engineer’s ethical obligations as applied to a series of real-life case studies, and will emphasize what engineers can do to advance a culture of ethics at an individual and organizational level.
