The Children’s Museum of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, breaks new ground with structural round timber (SRT) as the focal material showcasing the marriage of structural function and sustainability to achieve carbon neutral construction. Designing and constructing a two-story, 26,000 SF building with SRT presented a unique set of challenges. The presentation will cover the nuances of designing and detailing with SRT.
