LaShonda Williams, MPA, CFRE, currently serves as the associate director, Alumni Engagement & Annual Giving at South Texas College of Law Houston. Joining the team in the Centennial year, she serves as a vital member of the Advancement department, which spans all fundraising functions, alumni engagement, and philanthropic services. She leads the charge of developing and implementing alumni engagement strategic plan and acquisition.

Prior to joining STCL, she was employed with her Alma Mater, Prairie View A&M University where she oversaw the Annual Fund where she coined the phrase, “transitioning alumni affinity into philanthropy”, her efforts lead to increasing alumni annual fund giving by nearly 40%, raising $4.2 during her tenure.
Ms. Williams expertise includes strategic planning, program management, volunteer and board training, membership recruitment, fundraising execution, and marketing and communications planning. She has a proven track record of developing comprehensive multi-channel solicitation plans to elevate constituent engagement and giving. She is also a trainer at the Fundraising Academy.

Ms. Williams is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP).
