  • Heather Butler, CFRE

    Heather is celebrating ten years with Ronald McDonald House Charities Newfoundland and Labrador. She began her tenure as a Family Services Associate, her passion for the mission has led to many advancements since their opening in 2012. Heather currently serves as the Special Events Coordinator, managing a portfolio of Signature Events, the Volunteer Program and supports the Annual Fund. Heather also leads stewardship initiatives; most notable the Young Hero program.

  • Bree Muehlbauer, MPA, CFRE

    Bree is an associate consultant at Marts&Lundy, an international strategic and nonprofit consulting firm, where she serves clients across the education and arts sectors. Previously she served as the Director of Development for the College of Education and Health Sciences at Bradley University and as Interim Director of Development at Jazz St. Louis. Bree teaches nonprofit fundraising and management at the University of Montana, from which she earned her Master of Public Administration.

  • Caroline Osmeyer, MA, CFRE

    Caroline is the Director of Operations for Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. She is proud to work for an independent, community hospital that is sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy, which is currently in the quiet phase of a comprehensive campaign in celebration of its 150th anniversary in 2024. Caroline has over ten years of experience in healthcare philanthropy – including multi-hospital systems, standalone medical centers, and long-term care/rehabilitation – with experience in mid-level and major gifts, special events, prospect management/research, and operations.

  • LaShonda Williams, MPA, CFRE

    LaShonda Williams, MPA, CFRE, currently serves as the associate director, Alumni Engagement & Annual Giving at South Texas College of Law Houston. Joining the team in the Centennial year, she serves as a vital member of the Advancement department, which spans all fundraising functions, alumni engagement, and philanthropic services. She leads the charge of developing and implementing alumni engagement strategic plan and acquisition.

    Prior to joining STCL, she was employed with her Alma Mater, Prairie View A&M University where she oversaw the Annual Fund where she coined the phrase, “transitioning alumni affinity into philanthropy”, her efforts lead to increasing alumni annual fund giving by nearly 40%, raising $4.2 during her tenure.
    Ms. Williams expertise includes strategic planning, program management, volunteer and board training, membership recruitment, fundraising execution, and marketing and communications planning. She has a proven track record of developing comprehensive multi-channel solicitation plans to elevate constituent engagement and giving. She is also a trainer at the Fundraising Academy.

    Ms. Williams is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP).

  • Melissa Worrell Matthews, MBA, CFRE

    Melissa has spent the majority of her career in peer to peer and event fundraising and is currently the Manager of Peer to Peer Giving at the Colorectal Cancer Alliance. She was also the Director of Development for a small local nonprofit as well as the United Way and spent 10 years at the American Cancer Society managing P2P fundraising events in CA, MD, DC and VA with her first fundraising role was as Youth Market Director for the American Heart Association in the FL panhandle and Southern AL.
