Michelle is the CEO of the Chicago Association of REALTORS®, the “Voice for Real Estate in Chicago.” An experienced association executive for more than thirteen years, Mills Clement previously served as president and CEO of the Commercial Brokers Association (CBA) and association executive for the Washington State Commercial Association of REALTORS®. Prior to joining CBA, Mills Clement served as the Executive Director of NAIOP Washington State Chapter, the Commercial Real Estate & Development Association, where she implemented best practices in board governance and volunteer management.
Mills Clement is very active in the association industry. She is an active member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE): The Center for Association Excellence and the Association Forum of Chicagoland. In 2019, she was selected as one of six association leaders for ASAE’s prestigious Fellows Program. In 2013, she was named an ASAE Diversity Executive Leadership Program (DELP) Scholar, a prestigious executive leadership program awarded to only twelve executive-level association management professionals per year.
Additionally, in 2019, she was named one of Crain’s Chicago Businesses’ 40 Under 40. She was also one of just 39 leaders selected to participate in the nine-month Chicago Urban League IMPACT Leadership Development Program, hosted through the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Christie Tarantino-Dean joined the Institute of Food Technologists in April 2014 after more than 20 years of association management experience. Prior to IFT, Christie led the Association Forum of Chicagoland whose members represent more than 46,000 association professionals, giving her great exposure to the challenges and successes of the more than 1,000 professional societies and trade associations located in Chicago.
Prior to her role at Association Forum, she served as the Executive Director of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), which has 35,000 members and 62 chapters. Tarantino-Dean also gained extensive experience in convention management as the Associate Vice President of Member Relations at the Professional Convention Management Association, and began her association career as Membership Services Director with the Alabama State Bar Association.
She received a master's of public administration degree and a bachelor's degree in political science from Auburn University at Montgomery. She earned her Certified Association Executive designation in 2002 and was named a Fellow of the American Society of Association Executives in 2013.
Mary Lynn Fayoumi, CAE, SPHR, GPHR, SHRM-SCP is the President and CEO of HR Source. She is a highly respected and sought after speaker, trainer and advisor and is an accepted authority on a variety of organizational issues including workplace culture, employment trends, people management and leadership. Countless organizations have benefited from her expertise during her twenty plus years at the association.
Mary Lynn is a prolific writer, quoted and published regularly in a variety of local and national publications. She is a Past Chair of the Board of Directors for the Association Forum of Chicagoland as well as the Employer Associations of America and also previously served on the Board of the National Association of Manufacturers. Mary Lynn is currently an Advisory Board Member of the Community Memorial Foundation and Family Shelter Service.
Mary Lynn is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Iowa with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Industrial Relations/Human Resources. She also holds an MBA in International Management with Honors from the Thunderbird School of Management.
Julie Belloli,
CAE is Manager of Member Engagement for HR Source, an employers’
association providing human resources support to 1200 member organizations.
Julie represents the Association in the business community through industry
conference exhibits, sponsorships and networking opportunities. In addition to
actively recruiting new members, Julie services and interacts with current
Association members by providing ongoing support throughout their membership. She
manages the event planning for two annual conferences, leads the Association’s social
media initiatives and co-facilitates discussions with the HR Source Advisory
Council.
Julie is a member of the GOA
Regional Business Association and has held various committee and volunteer
positions throughout her time as a GOA member. She has served as a Membership
Ambassador and Young Professionals Committee co-chair and is a Past Chair of
the GOA Board of Directors. As an active member of Association Forum, Julie served
as co-chair of the Membership Development and Services Special Interest Group
(SIG). In 2014, she was recognized as a Forty Under 40 honoree through
Association Forum. In 2020, she was selected as a Regional 30 Under 40 honoree
through the West Suburban Chamber of Commerce. Julie holds a Bachelor of
Science degree in Organizational Leadership & Supervision from Purdue
University and earned her Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation in
August 2020.
Norma G. Castrejon is a Certified Association
Executive with over nine years of technology leadership in associations. She is
currently the Associate Director of Information Technology at the Higher
Learning Commission where she is responsible for coordinating complex
technology systems, facilitating development and maintenance of internal and
external facing applications, and directing IT projects to meet business
objectives, operational goals, and key business priorities. She has previously
held technology leadership positions at the National Commission on Correctional
Health Care (NCCHC), Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education
(ACCME), and Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc.
(AAAHC).
Norma is a member of the Association Forum of
Chicagoland and the current Chair of the SmartTech Program Advisory Group. She
is also a member of ASAE and a past DELP Scholar. She received her Bachelor of
Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago,
has a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Northeastern Illinois
University, and obtained her CAE in January 2019.
