Best entrance to locate elevators to the 5th floor is 727 McDermot Ave Brodie Center elevators in this floor are located by old HSC Emergency doors, or Brodie center second floor.
There is a parkade (Emily Street Parkade) at the center bottom of the map which is the best place to park. Walk past Apotex building across McDermot Ave. to enter Brodie Centre.

Learning Objectives
At the end of the session, participants will be able to:

  1. describe the differences between adult and child pathophysiology,
  2. conduct a primary and secondary survey for pediatric trauma cases,
  3. recognize, diagnose and manage common trauma-related pediatric injuries,
  4. recognize and consider ethical issues related to pediatric trauma,
  5. interpret diagnostic images for pediatric trauma cases, and
  6. determine the appropriate steps to prepare for the transport of a pediatric trauma patient.
