This discussion covers the unique experiences of African, African American, and Black science of food professionals in various academic settings, including Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSI's), Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU's), and predominantly white institutions (PWI's). This discussion fosters a deeper awareness of the lived experiences of African, African American, and Black science of food academics and promotes more equitable and inclusive academic spaces for all.
