IBC-2015 has specific requirements of the Engineer-of-Record regarding delegated design and deferred submittals. Many engineers misunderstand and misapply those requirements when delegating the design of portions of building structures to others. This session discusses lessons learned and suggested best practices for delegated design and deferred submittals.
